I was setting up my photo for today’s Yarn Along with Ginny, when Wigeon plopped her little hands on the coffee table. “Move your hands, please,” I said. With a little trickster laugh, she leaned her whole body into the photo and I couldn’t resist snapping a picture of her mischievous eyes and yogurt covered lips. I’ll be glad to remember this behind-the-scenes sweet face more than my knitting or the books I’m reading, I’m sure!
Knitting: I finished one of the Moira mitts, which Teal was so gracious to model. They are quite long! And the thumb, hmm… The two inches called for in the pattern seem to be quite a lot of thumb! The little stitch markers are still on there so I can make the next mitt the exact same size.
Reading: Inspired by Kim’s post, I checked out two books on medicinal and edible plants in my area. I am really interested in learning more about natural medicines.
I am looking forward to a special trip this weekend! Perhaps those of you who are knitters can guess where I’m going?! I hope to share more about it at next week’s Yarn Along.
Thanks for visiting!
