Fall Hiking

We went on hike with some of our Waldorf homeschooling friends a week ago.  The yellow aspens were stunning in between the pines, and the weather was perfect.  Our destination was a little lake nestled against a mountain.

The kids and I enjoyed the hike so much that two days later we convinced some of our family to go hiking on the same trail.  The weather had changed a little.

We were grateful for an abundant supply of Granny’s (and my!) hand-knit hats, whether the right size or not; extra blankets and (dirty) clothes available in cars for extra warmth; and a Grampy who carried our food and water in his backpack.

What fall changes have you been seeing?

Thank for visiting today!
